When I arrived at Chicago O’hare airport several hours ago I tried to rid myself of all expectations. Experience from a previous travel abroad has taught me to be a little bit more in the moment and a lot less forceful in my planning. Primary reason for this, is that in life I do not believe the average person plans all too much. Sure there is work and school but these things become routine; and even though I have broken my routine of living in the United State, I do not plan on breaking my routine of “going-with-the-flow”.
I now sit and wait for my connecting flight to MRS where my journey will truly begin. I am a bit famished and fatigued from the first flight. I have Five US dollars and some US coins, and a few Euros I got in exchange from buying a wall adaptor. Very curious how the markets in the airport here DO accept US notes for currency in addition to their national currency.
I am so hungry, I could almost eat at McDonalds. I would like to use my new Vape Pen but unfortunately that was left in my small bag which I was not able to have as a carry-on due to its heavy weight factor. Decisions decisions.
