Writing Personification

Dear Qwerty Pen,

It is really hard for one to always give you the attention you deserve. This person believes that we can have a much more beautiful relationship if we can get past our differences. This author is a creative mind with many things to say, whereas you are an inanimate object that requires a set of hands, it is in our interest to work together to help change the world for the better. What do you think?

The concept of writing has suffered abuse lately. From its humble beginnings of cave drawings to hieroglyphics, craved stone, and eventually paper papyrus, to now mehanical or otherwise automated machines; somewhere in between writing has been toutured, misused, bullied, and forsaken. Writing comes in many forms. Songs heard on the radio were composed paper (sometimes napkins) to performance in front of a microphone in a recording studio. Computer software designed with the use of a computer language and many words to have an operating system. Movies use scripts for actors, police use tickets and their written word to record information as doctors use written documents to prescribe or diagnose. On average, there are probably trillion of newly written letters on Earth every week. Wowsers what a concept, it is hard to put into words how much writing can impact a life.

In order to help prosonify this authos affilation to writing examples and demonstrations will be given as contextutually as possible in order to help use understand and come to an agreement on proper use of words as well as ways to revive and resscitate our friend Qwerty Pen. So here we go.

Funtion(document.write.essay==true){

Var grade = “A”

}

the completely made up function above is an example of computer language. Computers speak a tupe of language that we as humans could not really communicate, mostly because it operates in absolutes. This is an example of hypothetical software rhetoric. We pose a theory and a rhetorical situation called a functions, which is simply the task too be looked at. Then we have a purpose, which is to in this case write an essay, we set the value to true, which means rhetorical situation to be compiled when the initial questions is found true. If the document is written the grade in this scenerio is going to be an “A”. Our computer can compute this, and thus we have a happy program, no need for a translator in this case. Sometimes computers use multiple languages to execute a certain script and cross language plugins are neeed to fom this task. Wtithout going into great deal, let’s just say that the computers of today speak many languages and would bu our standards have many PhDs if they were living breathing organic things.

Right now the song D.A.N.C.E. is playing on my iTunes. The lyrics are not complicated but there are repeating lines. “Dance, the way you move is a misery. Do the dance.” It is a really groovy song, and fun to listen to especially since this particular artest does not usually sing or have any lyrical content. What went into writing the lyrics is not exactly known but one may guess that at some point something was written prior to recording. Inspiration aside, a napkin and a pen have been the first home to many great ideas and song lyrics that we have today. Is it easy to imagain an artest drawing a pictures using what we call letters to describe their thoughts and observations being made, with a simple pen and a napkin. In acient times perhaps, cave drawings might have been made to help memorize a ceremony or song. The bible is the source of many songs, parables and is essentially a manual that has been translated several imes over the course of Earth’s history.

This author has had the privlage to work with computers and learn new languages like C++, Java, CSS, HTML, Basic, and I am sure others the general population may be less familear with. Speaking of things that are fun to work with, song writing is another thing that can be a great way to releave stress and at the same time express ones self. The songs that this person has produced are so many it would be difficult to explain every meaning and development course. Here are some examples. Napkin to computer text file, text message sent directly to self, email sent to self, jornal entry translated for word processing and yes even inpromtu composition live with transcipture at a future time. My point? They say time is money, I refuite this. Time is defined by words and language. Profit or monetary value comes from knowledge after words and language has been exhausted.

Qwerty Pen is suffering from ignorant thought patterns in print. A news map below shows that even broadcasted news shouldreally be considered biasedcasted information. The size of the states in the bottom pictures are conqruent with how much news is being reported about that particular area. ON the news we hear of politians and other powerful people, being questions and put on the spot because of words they said. Daily text messages go out with the use of internet language called l33t speak. Lol, rolf, brb, gtfo, imho, naoz, ftw, wtf, are all acrynyms for phrases used in text messages or on the internet. In proper use of a word especially printed on paper as well as those things listed above are things that hurt our friend Mr. Pen. Soon the Clarion (the school new source), will be producing video and audio news stories online. This author has the opportunity to be the voice of the campus and the responcibility is great knowing this fundamental untold law of language. With the challenge accepted there will be at least one person reviving Qwerty. You can do your part by printing when nexessary, and checking spelling, word use and yes even grammar. Another thing that could be done better is sending well drafted electronic messages, whether it be an email or a text message, put some real thought into it before hitting send.

Finally, let me say with emphasys, to write. Do not be confounded to rules if you are not a person who can adhear to such things. Just write. Long before cars, use of horses, and airplanes, we used languge to propel us in a way and could be stransported almost anywhere with just our minds. That is the magic of writing, as our words have evolved into what we have today. An endless stream of text.
